The Society organises visits during the summer months – for members and their guests – to country houses and other Georgian buildings, many of them not normally open to the public. A recent Summer Programme included the rare privilege of a visit to Wentworth Woodhouse, former seat of the Earls Fitzwilliam. Its east façade, shown above, is the longest continuous house frontage in the country.
The Summer Programme is circulated to members in February or March each year.
